These policies have been put in place to ensure Mysfit Books and the Mysfit community are protected.

  1. Hate speech, harassment and bullying are not tolerated anywhere, online, at vendor events, or in our physical store.
  2. All sales at 3rd party vendor events are final. Mysfit Books LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  3. We have the right to refuse service to anyone.

Our Mission:

At Mysfit Books, we are two witchy queer book lovers on a mission to create a haven where everyone, especially the LGBTQ+ community, can feel safe, seen, and celebrated. We curate an eclectic collection of literature with a special focus on independent and local authors, offering stories that reflect diverse identities and lived experiences.

More than a bookstore, we are a gathering space—a home between the pages—where misfits of every kind are welcomed with warmth, magic, and open arms. Through community events, thoughtful curation, and radical inclusivity, we aim to uplift underrepresented voices and build a space where everyone belongs.

MEET THE MYSFITS

Keeli

Hi friends!

Keeli here👋 I have had my nose in a book since before I could walk. I buy my purses specifically sized to fit my Kindle and a physical book. Reading is everything to me and I am so honored that I get to share that love with my best friend, Morgan, and all of you!

Books are a form of connection that is so special. Being able to relate to a character is a bridge to being able to connect with a person and I think that is so cool. Stories are my favorite part of life. Before we had technology, we had stories. Oral traditions and stories were passed down from generation to generation. Being able to open a safe space with Morgan to tell those stories is something that is so special and I am very grateful everyday that I get to be a part of something so big.

I’m a YAPPER. I have a podcast with my sisters called 1 Topic, 3 Takes. It’s a comedic historical podcast where the twins and I talk about the historical, personal, and spooky parts of history. We delve into some niche parts of history and I am so happy and proud of the work my sisters and I do.

I’m also a crafty girl. There’s something about being able to make something mundane into something beautiful. A broken necklace can turn into a focal point of a painting, a tattered book can become a beautiful pair of earrings. Crafting is an escape and it's turned into handmaking most of our Mysfit inventory!

Morgan and I are so honored that you all have made Mysfit a reality. We can’t wait to see you in the store and we can’t wait to share our love of reading and community with you 💜💜

Morgan

Hey, everyone! I have been a lover of reading and the arts my entire life. There is not a feeling quite like losing yourself in a fantastic book or the perfect song that makes you feel seen. There's something about finding yourself in a piece of art that lets you know you're not alone. As a musician, a hair artist, and now a bookstore owner, I know it's part of my journey to make that kind of feeling accessible to everyone that crosses my path, too.

As I grow older, I've learned that there isn't really a bubble I fit in completely (just like all of us, right?) and I find joy in knowing that I don't have to! I can be the alternative baddie that 11 year old me would think was so cool. I can be the pink-loving romantic softie that I thought I had to hide for so long. I can be anything I want to be and I can share it with the beautiful community around me. There truly is magic in being a Mysfit and it means that you and I are seen exactly as we are and welcomed as so.

There is not a day that goes by that I am not giddy with excitement that we are building this Mysfit community together. 💜 When Keeli and I first started dreaming of what Mysfit could be, I had no idea we would have the kind of love and support that finds us everywhere we go. I am so stoked to bring this bookstore to life with my best friend and reach as far as we can with our love of reading, independent artistry, and a safe space for anyone who needs it. Welcome home, Mysfits. I know I've found mine with all of you. 🥰
